We are giving in-love (or in-like) couples a unique opportunity to spend the most romantic day of the year – Valentine’s Day – at the most romantic place in Cape Town – the Two Oceans Aquarium. This is a special chance to visit the fish after dark, and an opportunity to impress your date in a very exclusive way - intimate dinners-for-two in front of your favourite Aquarium exhibits.

- We've scattered tables for two throughout the Aquarium, in front of your favourite exhibits for you to enjoy the most romantic nights of the year in a truly unique way. Good food, an amazing view of the underwater world at night, and the perfect partner - what more could anyone ask for? Prices range from R1 150 to R2 000 per couple depending on which dining spot you select (details below).*

- The price includes entrance into the Aquarium for the evening, an (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) arrival drink and a delicious dinner for two (see menu below).
- A wine list will be available on the evening, and a cash bar will be open. R30 corkage fee for your own drinks.

- All food is prepared in a Halaal-certified kitchen. Vegetarian options are available by prior arrangement only, please email [email protected] with your meal preference if you require vegetarian catering, or it will be assumed that the standard menu is acceptable. (see menu below)

Standard Platter for Two:
Hot items (served with garlic aioli and lemon butter sauce):
- Grilled hake

- Baked chicken thighs rubbed with zesty orange and thyme
- Beef sirloin with mushroom sauce and green peppercorn sauce
- Savoury rice
- Herbed baby potatoes
- Seared red pepper and broccoli
- Rocket, tomato, red onion, feta and olive salad
- Variety of artisanal breads and dips
Platter for Two (vegetarian option - by prior arrangement)*:
Hot items (served with garlic aioli and lemon butter sauce):
- Baked aubergine with a puttanesca sauce
- Tempura vegetables
- Butternut and feta spring rolls
- Baked garlic butter and parmesan stuffed brown mushroom
- Savoury rice
- Herbed baby potatoes
- Seared red pepper and broccoli
- Rocket, tomato, red onion, feta and olive salad
- Variety of artisanal breads and dips

A R30 per bottle corkage fee will be charged for any wine bottles brought in, a full cash bar with wine list will be available on the evening.
