ABOUT
In South Africa, gender-based violence (GBV) is a significant problem that affects women, children, and people in the LGBTQ+ community. A woman is killed by her spouse every three hours in South Africa, which has one of the worst rates of GBV in the world.
I've teamed up with the @missbachelorette foundation and @menther to launch a project called "Women Empowerment Fundraising Competition" in order to generate money for the Miss Bachelorette Foundation and aid in rescuing women and children from situations involving GBV.
No woman or kid should be left behind, according to the Women Empowerment Fundraising Competition project. One of my fundamental beliefs is the empowerment of women. I think that if women have more financial power, they will be able to support their families and communities. So, fewer women and kids are likely to be present in hostile environments. The campaign will raise money to support GBV sufferers and transform lives.
A global mentoring community called Menther supports female social entrepreneurs. A ticket to the mentorship program's StartUp & Pitch Bootcamp on April 1st, 2023, has been funded. With the help of pitch coach Louise Mitchelle, the bootcamp will take a deep dive into your business plan and strategy. A lucky donor who contributes to the fundraiser will be eligible to win a pass to the Bootcamp.
Despite our best efforts, we are unable to defeat GBV on our own. We need your assistance.
By making a donation, you help the Miss Bachelorette Foundation grow and bring about the societal change we all need to see. The Foundation will receive every penny of the sales.
The campaign will be held from February 28, 2023, through March 16, 2023.
