Come and join renowned mushroom expert Jon Mac Gillivray in the KZN Midlands, as he guides you through the fantastic world of Fungi! Learn about mushroom identification features, edibility, and Fungi's role in our ecosystems.

Jon has over a 20yrs of guiding experience and is a qualified field guide with vast experience in translating the wilds. He is also an educator, business owner, and author in the field of Mycology.

He is currently the president of the Mycological Society of Southern Africa(MSOSA) and will be able to add you to the provincial mushroom identification group run by MSOSA in your area; an incredible learning resource.

About the venue: 

Berghaven Cottages is situated in the Cathkin Park region of the Drakensberg. Known for its World Heritage Site status the Cathkin Conservancy was formed and aims to protect its fauna and flora. A donation will be given to this worthy cause.
