Recording: Basic Orientation to NDSC

This basic orientation to neurodevelopmental supportive care (NDSC) webinar will provide a brief overview of fetal development, the intra-uterine environment and the impact of the NICU environment on the development of the premature infant. Benefits of NDSC within NICU’s will be discussed in terms of the different neuro- developmental subsystems.

The webinar will conclude with a look at the South African Best Practice Guidelines for NDSC.
