The Story Behind The Catharina

Mitha Catharina Lubbe started her music career in 2011 after moving to Pretoria, South Africa. Although already busy with her first album and performances, she only released her solo project Catharina (also known as The Catharina) with her first single, Today, in 2015. Catharina’s music is an ambient musical conversation that is rooted in alternative-indie music with pop, rock and classical influences that forms the exceptional sound that makes Catharina such a unique artist.
