The Rainmakers are back in Johannesburg, 8 years after their last performance at The Orbit! The Swiss/Spanish/South African band led by Bänz Oester is beaming with excitement as it will perform at Jazz Night at Villa Simonne's in Houghton on Thursday 6 July 2023 at 7 pm. They will be presenting music from their 3rd and latest album Gratitude (released on ENJA Records). The band features a new tenor saxophone player from Spain, the amazing Javier Vercher, alongside long-time members Afrika Mkhize on piano, Ayanda Sikade on drums, and bassist Bänz Oester. A high voltage connection between North and South not to be missed.
