ABOUT

INTRODUCING JIM BEAM WELCOME SESSIONS: ALL TOGETHER FOR SA’S BEST ALTERNATIVE MUSIC

Jim Beam is bringing us together. The merging of artists, venues, and music lovers. The feeling of being a part of the SA music scene with the launch of their Jim Beam Welcome Sessions. The Welcome Sessions are all about creating connections between amazing acts, some you wouldn’t ordinarily expect to feature together. It’s a demonstration of their shared love for the music and the local scene to remind fans of the essence of live music, that welcoming spirit – something they’ve been missing over these long months.

Welcome back live music with Chantel Van T, Painted Flowers, and Springbok Nude Girls on the 3rd of December at Hells Kitchen. Two performances, one night. Brought to you by the world’s number one bourbon.

Chantel Van T (previously Van T) is the solo project of Diamond Thug’s lead singer. Alone she spins delicate, raw, haunting soundscapes. Dramatic, captivating and expertly moving, her unique vocal style and synth-acoustics will make you swoon.

Painted Flowers is a vibrant six-piece alt-rock outfit with their sound fixed firmly in the heyday of the century gone by. Richly reimagined ’60s, ’70s and ’80s influence pepper their tracks, as they flex a dynamic and alluring take on a vintage sound revisited.

Springbok Nude Girls need little introduction, the SAMA award-winning band can easily hold the title of being one of South Africa's biggest rock bands. The Nude Girls are well known for their genre-bending of punk rock, ska, acid jazz, and heavy metal and are responsible for introducing a new world of music to the youth of South Africa in the mid-to-late 1990s.
