For the Love of It aims to bring you the finer things in Life in an environment where you can relax in style, and appreciate great music, live artists, exquisite drinks, food, and the sultry summer sun. A complimentary refreshing and light welcome drink will be served on arrival, compliments of our host venue - Morgenhof Wine Estate - and FTLOI.

A brand rooted in passion and a deep appreciation for all that Life has to offer, FTLOI is all about spreading the love for great music, exquisite wines, brews, and tantalizing cuisine while giving back and making a difference by purchasing a ticket, making a donation and/or just showing up to share in the joy and above all, party with PURPOSE! Previous For the Love of It events have led to the FTLOI community growing in numbers every single time! Past unforgettable host venues include Beyerskloof Wine Estate (Stellenbosch), Riot Brewery (Woodstock), Allée Bleue Wine Estate (Franschhoek), Stellenbrau Brewery (The Wood Mill, Stellenbosch) and Signal Gun Winery (Durbanville). This time, we invite you to head to Morgenhof Wine Estate in the heart of the Cape Winelands, Stellenbosch on Klapmuts Road (R44).

Join us on Sunday, 20 November 2022 from 12-6 pm at Morgenhof Wine Estate as we not only celebrate Life but also infuse even greater love into FTLOI by giving back generously to the communities in which we live, work and play. To honour the adventurous spirit and legacy of the late Dugald (Duke) Cloete, the founder and visionary behind For The Love of It, proceeds of all FTLOI events will enable his unbridled love of Life to be shared even more widely, leaving the world a little better every time by supporting a cause that resonates with many of us. In 2022, 4 years after our last event and a global pandemic, it's all about #EDUCATION once again.

Proceeds of FTLOI Round 7 will be donated to Reggie Meyer Education Fund (RMEF), a registered PBO (Public Benefit Organisation) and NPO, established by Reagan & Leandra Meyer in 2020, working in collaboration with Training4Changes. RMEF provides bursaries to help Training4Changes Futsal Academy boys access top-quality high school education. Morgenhof Wine Estate and FTLOI crews are putting together a Sunday Fun Day afternoon experience that will tantalise your taste buds and blow your mind!

SEATING

There will be some seating (incl. picnic tables, couch areas, benches) as well as umbrellas and trees offering shaded areas on the day.

If you prefer or love to laze on lush lawns, feel free to bring your picnic blanket along and get your FTLOI chillaxin' game on.

Exquisite wines Morgenhf's range of wines will be available and wine specials will be available to all FTLOI ticket holders on event day!

Fully stocked pop-up bars to avoid long queues will be another blessing - breathe a sigh of relief together now!

Be sure to try out the AMAZING Morgenhof Pinotage Sangria Frosty - it is heaven in a glass!

PLATTERS | PIZZAS | PICNIC BASKETS

Be whisked away on a culinary adventure as delicious cheeseboards, vegetable- or meat platters and pizzas will be available!

Picnic baskets are always a joy - these special FTLOI picnic baskets can be pre-ordered, check details on socials!

Gourmet Picnic Basket for 2 (R450) and/or Veg Picnic Basket for 2 (R390). Both picnic basket options include a bottle of wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Rose).

A Grab & Go menu will also be available, incl. wraps, a "Braai Menu" and a selection of either a meat or cheese platter (single).

Glasses will be available on the day to sip in style (a refundable deposit may apply).

Smooth house grooves will be flowing from the decks of accomplished DJs.

Soulful house music, combined with incredible live artist performances can only mean a fabulous day that will live on and linger long after the day is done.

TUTORED WINE TASTING

Morgenhof Wine Estate will offer tutored wine-tasting sessions on event day - pre-booking your slot is advised given limited tasting slots/sessions on the day.

There will also be specials on the day for FTLOI patrons who stock up on exquisite wines for summer!
