Umdloti Beach & Bush Night Hike

hello hikers!

Now this is something new and should not be missed!!!

Lots of you were asking about an adventurous night hike so here it is....

You will get to experience what it feels like to hike in a coastal forest and on a deserted beach at night.

We will start our walk at the main carpark in Umdloti (opposite the garage). from there we head south and enter the Sibaya Coastal Forest Reserve. We will walk on various trails and exit the forest near Peace Cottage where we turn around and head back either on the beach or in the forest.

This is an easy hike (suitable for beginners).

Time: 18.15 for 18.30

Place: Umdloti South Beach Car Park

Distance: appr. 7km (there and back)

Duration: 2-3 hours

Cost: R100pp

NO UNDER 12'S

What to bring:

snacks, water or cold drinks, a torch or a headlamp.

Walking shoes/takkies.
