The La Cotte Garden Weekend has become a popular date to diarise in the gardening calendar. The event provides a wonderful opportunity to explore the five hectare gardens laid out with a mixture of meadows and Cape Mediterranean plantings. Each Orchard Cottage Garden has a unique selection of plants and colours. The historical farmhouse sits comfortably amongst mature Oak trees and sweeping lawns. A spectacular double border extends down to a traditional style Dovecote.
This year the event will extend over two days and includes exciting and informative talks by renowned Botanists and Garden Designers.
The Saturday event registrations starts at 08h30 with a welcome hot beverage. Presentations commence at 10h00 promptly by the following speakers:

The day also includes a delicious "gardeners' lunch" with homegrown fresh ingredients and a light dessert.
The afternoon ends with a self-guided walk of the gardens followed by a glass of La Cotte white wine on the farm house restaurant veranda.
