The ISBC has signed up on the website https://www.fraudweek.com/ as a supporting organisation of the International Fraud Awareness Week that is taking place from 13 to 19 November 2022.
We, as the big voice of small business in the Bay, would like to join the global effort of minimising the impact of fraud on organisations and communities.
As part of this initiative, we would like to host a training event for our members to raise awareness of the need to act to prevent fraud and corruption.
This will be in the form of a business breakfast function on Friday 18 November 2022, where we will have various authoritative speakers present and participate in a panel discussion on the impact of fraud on small business and how we can fight fraud and corruption.
We will also be conducting two interviews with our media sponsor, Kingfisher FM, during that week. We would like our event speakers to participate in these interviews as well.
