Dylan Laity x Veld and Sea pop up dinner


Join us on Sunday the 16th of Oct for a journey of ocean flavours at this unique dining experience created by award winning chef Dylan Laity, hosted the the beautiful Veld and Sea Glasshouse in Cape Point. This pescatarian meal will be showcasing the fruits of the sea (fruits de mer !) and feature an array of local wild seaweeds, herbs and plants associated with our local coastline.

On arrival : 

Smoked snoek pate with fresh pressed apple jelly , traditional Vetkoek and bubbles 

1st course : 

Yellowtail sashimi , apple and ginger dressing , sesame seed emulsion, raddish, coriander and avo. 

2) Seared tiger prawn with kimchi, prawn shell Mayo, sour cream, Tom yum jelly and trout roe 

3)Seared tuna with local dashi ( foraged seaweed) pickled Kohlrabi, green peas and smoked Mackeral cream . 

4)Spiced Hake , carrot and cashew nut purée, chermoula dressing , dukkah , glazed baby carrots and pea shoots . 

5) Cheesecake mousse with basil oil , preserves gooseberries, walnut biscuits , naartjie granite and walnut snow 


R900 includes A five course lunch meal, chef storytelling and bubbles on arrival. 

You are welcome to bring your own bottle of wine/drink of choice to enjoy with the meal.
