Carus Gardens
ABOUT
Come and celebrate our Heritage.
Are you ready for an incredible dining experience that stands the test of time?
Carus Gardens in the heart of Linden brings time to a halt. The Heritage Home on the estate was the Original Farmhouse and Residence of Johannes Jacobus Rabie van der Linde, after which Linde, the suburb, was named.
The Dining room reminisces the golden era of travel with pressed ceilings, antique clocks, Persian carpets, and crystal and brass chandeliers.
Throughout lunch, you will experience the enchanting water-rich and scented garden, abundant with natural light, hum melodious bird songs and the delicate sound of silver on bone china.
The menu, curated by the well-travelled and acclaimed designer Hugo Kruger-Nel, his Artist and Author partner, Matthys Kruger-Nel and the International Resident Chef, Jacques Vermuelen, combines
traditional favourites to tantalise your taste buds with a twist. Malay curry, Oxtail, Peach Marmalade, delicate and imaginative pastries, delicious open-fire signature meat meals and vegetarian options of acclaim.
The five-course meal includes an exquisite pairing to make the experience more memorable.
Lunch at Carus Gardens has been an enduring custom since the homestead's completion in 1889.
Come and celebrate life ever-changing with us.
