Tue Sep 6, 18:30 - Tue Sep 6, 20:30
Furny's Fine Wines
ABOUT
Come join us for the 4th module in a series of wine courses put together by Furny's Fine Wines and hosted by local Cape Wine Master, Harry Melck in order to teach you how to taste wines like a boss!
This is a follow-on from the foundation modules on "How to Taste White and Red Classic Wines" and takes a deeper look at individual varieties. However, attendance to the first two modules is not a prerequisite to this tasting which is aimed at anyone wanting to learn more about the regional differences of specific varieties in South Africa.
The next of these 'deep dives' will focus on the various styles of Chenin Blanc that come from different regions in South Africa. Harry will highlight how specific regional factors such as climate, altitude, soils and other influences give the wines their unique signature characteristics.
The tasting will include 7 wines from 7 different regions, providing an excellent basis for comparison.
The restaurant at Furny's will be open after the event for those who wish to stay on and enjoy a meal.
The cost of this module is R295pp. Ticket numbers are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first served basis so please book to secure a place.
