Carus Gardens in the heart of Linden brings time to a halt. The stunning gazebo, water-rich and scented garden, abundant natural light hums with gentle chatter, melodious bird song, and the delicate sound of silver on bone china throughout High Tea.

The menu is inspired by the world-renowned designer Hugo Kruger-Nel, his Author partner, Matthys Kruger-Nel and the resident chef, Jacques Vermuelen. The menu offers the traditional favourites with a twist, ranging from delicate and imaginative pastries to delicious signature cakes and beautiful tapas. 

A glass Brut Chardonnay and Viognier make the extra experience special.

High Tea at Carus Gardens has been an enduring custom since the homestead’s completion in 1889.

The terrace is a popular venue combined with the Farmhouse’s usual impeccable service with a panoramic view of the water gardens.
