South Africans celebrate the day by remembering the cultural heritage of the many cultures that make up the population of South Africa. We simply going to celebrate but most importantly we gonna BRAAI and jive to some live jazz tunes by the acclaimed Cape Town based boy band Jeodhouse.

This 5 piece ensemble will have you tapping your feet and singing along to some old favourite jazz songs whilst the resident chef will be smoking up a delicious buffet braai menu in the background. All this fun, food and music will take place in the heart of the Mother City at the foot of Signal Hill. No wonder the beautiful Hyatt Regency Hotel named the pool deck terrace the Signal Hill. There will be various seating options available such as VIP booths, general 4 seater booths or if you want to hang by the sparkling blue pool, the choice is yours.

About Jeodhouse Band:

The Cape Town based boy band: The Jeodhouse band might be 7 years old but its musicians have over 20 years of music and entertainment experience. All the members performed abroad on renowned stages. The band leader and keyboard player was a member for the famous Cape Town based group 'The Rockets' Devanish Hendricks served and performed with the 'The Rockets' for over 5 years. Today the pop, r&b and party band is the preferred band for all Vodacom and EOH corporate events such as 'The Shimmy Beach Vodacom Year End Party' , 'The Vodacom Awards Ceremony ' , 'EOH Long service Awards ' and many more. The Jeodhouse band is famous for holding residency at famous entertainment establishments such as: 'Jackson Hall' Grand West Casino, 'Blue Whistle' owned by radio personality 'Nick Feinberg ' (Heart 104.9 FM) 'The Stikland Driving Range, Dante's Premier Lounge ' 'The Golden Valley Casino' 'The Jeodhouse Annual Street Party' 2017/18 The band is renowned for their toe tapping disco and r&b medleys which keeps audiences glued to the dance floor. The Jeodhouse band is unique in that they are all seasoned vocalist from the drummer to the bassist, guitarist and keyboard player.

Jeodhouse DVD & Single:

The band have subsequently released 2 of their original songs: 'Summer Party ' and 'Girl you the one ' Jeodhouse band released their debut DVD recording which was recorded live on the 18 August 2019 in Cape Town.. 2020 started out with a fresh new tune: "The Wedding Song" available on all major online platforms and featured on most radio stations.

About Six Dogs Gins:

Distiller Charles Bryant was soon joined by his brother Glenn and friend Luigi Marucchi who shared the desire to create something really special. When it came to the still, we decided to re-invent the wheel by custom-designing a traditional copper still to our precise specifications.

Our research into molecular distillation revealed that some of the delicate botanicals would be better preserved by being distilled under vacuum and blended later. What started off as an exploration of technology and botany evolved into a passion – and that’s how Six Dogs gin came into the world. No one really knows where the Karoo, a semi-desert natural region of South Africa, begins and ends. We do know, however, that in our little valley of De Wet, nestled between the Breede River Valley and the Hex River Valley, the wild things grow!

We use some of these wild plants of the Karoo in our gin, also growing our own botanicals whilst supporting neighbouring farmers who grow specific fruit for us.

Our distillery was built with a view of the mountains and the greater Karoo, looking up towards the valley from which we get the purest mountain water ever, and yes, you guessed right – that’s the source of the water we use to make our gin. In the evenings, we can just see the lights of Worcester behind us as we take in the beautiful view up the valley and wonder if the Karoo doesn’t actually begin right here at the distillery.
