Biographies:

HartleyVale:

Hartleyvale is the collaboration of James Nevin (g/v), Ryan Stopforth (g/k), Luke Verrezen (b/k), and Keagan van Wyk (d). The four met at music school in 2017 and quickly bonded through many hours and countless performances as developing Jazz musicians. 2020 saw the group expand their horizons as a unit, with compositions drawing influence from psychedelic rock, neo-soul, pop musics, and more popular styles. With this, Hartleyvale, the physical manifestation of a shared will to create, was birthed. “In what can only be described as a true meeting of minds, the band, comprising of James Nevin (guitar and vocals), Ryan Stopforth (guitar and keys), Luke Verrezen (bass and keys), and Keagan van Wyk (drums), play off each other with an almost mesmerising assuredness that sees their sound come together beautifully.” - Jessica Littlewood, Texx and the City 

Moskitos:

New generation, vivid modulation, cosmic reverberation. Moskitos is a three-piece outfit that

merge propulsive grooves and guitar freak outs to produce a sound and mood creation

inspired by the analogue tones from the golden era, where sonic art was mind expanding

and experiential. The band crafted a unique sound melting nods to early psychedelia and

garage rock records, as well as incorporating elements of afrobeat, eastern music and

progressive rock. Stylistic switch ups and extended jams means you never know when you’ll

be carried down a river of feel-good day tripper jangles or when you’ll end up in a fuzzfuelled

Dank Neighbourhood is a band hailing

from the Western Cape of South Africa,

formed in 2016. The DN, as they’re also

known, love to mix it up, combining the

creative energies of the 10 members to

create weird, wild, and wonderful sonic
