A breakfast event to announce the annual FOOD XX Women in Food Awards winners for 2022.


The breakfast is hosted by Studio H in collaboration with the V&A Waterfront and Makers Landing.


During the breakfast, we will have the following line-up of speakers, installations and happenings:

  • MC: Khanya Mzongwana
  • Tea ritual by Michele Mistry, Indikaap Vegan Ayurveda
  • Talk by Mmabatho Molefe, Emazulwini: Empowering Black women and challenging misconceptions of indigenous cuisine (as per her talk at 50 Next in Bilbao, Spain)
  • Interactive installation by Nabo Binase, Ukutya: Remixing indigenous ingredients
