ABOUT
Rondebosch Boys' High School's Drama Department is proud to present Greig Coetzee's renowned play “ Happy Natives”, starring the very talented 14-piece cast of Aaron Vettiyamkunnath, Aiden Van Oudshoorn, Ben De Kock, Christwish Chikochi, Cameron Paschen, Connor Peddie, Enkosi Stofile, James Ford, Josh Riddell, Luca Scott, Nicholas Poulter, Ryan Arenhold, Taariq Stemmet and Tauriq Petersen.
This witty and comedic stage production brings to light some important issues and highlights how little we know about each other within our rainbow nation.
We are reminded of the interesting and richly human world we inhabit, and that in fact, no human being fits into the images that the media would like to sell us.
The play is extremely gripping, very funny, and yet keeps surprising the audience with its insight into the complexities of cross-cultural relationships.
A triumphant confirmation of the writer's ability to comment satirically and powerfully on South African society!
