JOHANNESBURG OPERA present 'THE POWER OF A WOMAN'S VOICE'.
South Africa celebrates National Women's Day on 09 August. The day commemorates the 1956 march of approximately 20,000 women to the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
To celebrate this special day and Women's Month, Johannesburg Opera present 'THE POWER OF A WOMAN'S VOICE'.
We close off Women's month with a very special concert, 'The Power of a Woman's Voice'. This all-women cast show will showcase amazing women performers: Khayakazi Madlala, Yolisa Ngwexana (sopranos), and Asisipho Petu (mezzo-soprano), accompanied by Annelien Bell on piano.
They will take you on an emotional journey and entertain you with many of your favourite opera arias and ensembles such as Ebben? Ne andro lontana, Seguidilla, I feel pretty, Sull'aria, The flower duet... and many more.
N.B.: We have 20 seats available at R220 per person. These seats are side-view seats.
