“The Color Blew” formed in 2013 a passionate musical collaboration between experienced independent music veterans. Liaan Horton from South African hard rock band “Blacklist Rock” teamed up with Armando Santos and Marius Cronje both from fellow South African based band “Equils” to interpret and create aural art based on songs written by Liaan Horton. This union proved to be so successful that “The Color Blew” soon started writing fresh alternative rock songs as a unit. Timothy James was recruited early in 2016 to bolster the bands unique sound the message is simple… The Color Blew represent depth and insight in a plastic over produced shallow sea of “radio music”… they provide the “alternative” the result when talent and passion combine with no preconceived notions, when music is played and experienced for the mood, fueled by the moment and ignited by passion!
