“Most often my songs arrive in more than one voice, they are conversations between people with often
opposing worldviews; people I know and have great affection for. In singing, I soothe the parts of myself that
feel fractured by the lack of shared perspective I witness in my immediate surroundings. Personally, within
my family and friends but also politically within a wounded//healing socio-political landscape.”
