This September, The Freelance Collective, a digital skills freelancer network of BeyondMedia, will host its first networking mixer featuring guest speakers in the radio space and editors of media publications and prominent businesses!
Who are our guest speakers???
We don't like name-dropping, but if we must, we have guest speakers with hiring access from Media24, eNCA, Allan Gray Orbis Foundation and Caxton newspapers.
So what is our big why???
The world is rapidly evolving, and the demand for digital skills is growing. There is no denying that we’re living in the digital age and many people and companies need digital services. That is good news for people with digital skills; however, it would be more fantastic if the opportunities reached them.
How are we reducing unemployment???
Businesses need to know freelancers, just like freelancers need to know companies that need their skills. To resolve this challenge, BeyondMedia will host this networking mixer to bring freelancers and business managers into the same space to be acquainted professionally.

On your arrival, a BeyondMedia freelance photographer will take your professional headshot in the studio on location. This will be accounted for on a first come, first serve basis. The corporate portrait is valued at R450 but we are offering it to you as a COMPLIMENTARY perk!
17h00 | High profile guest speakers
In this section of the network mixer you will be exposed to leading managers who have HIRING power. Listen closely to the type of freelancers they are looking to hire and in the last portion of the event you meet them and share business cards.
18h00 | Free Sundowners & Network Session
Now that spring is in full swing, we know it’s almost impossible to resist the pull of the Jo'burg sunset.
