*** DUBS AT THE BEACH 2022 ***
The makers of Vdub Camp Fest are proud to present the fourth annual #DubsAtTheBeach event on Sunday 7 August 2022 at Kings Park Stadium, Durban.
The weekend Show And Shine, Stance and Sound-Off event is a relaxing coastal outing for enthusiasts of new or old German cars from the Volkswagen Auto Group. The Show & Shine, which is intended to be more of a casual Park-Off than a formal competition, will include 12 category prizes sponsored by CFAO Volkswagen and various motor industry brands. Event coverage will be done by variety of media partners so be sure to bring your admired ride in its best polished condition.
An added objective of this show is to offer VAG fanatics a weekend away for enthusiasts who are stuck at the inland cities for most of the year. Join the *Dubs At The Beach* Convoy to the sunny Durban beaches for a break from the norm.
One lucky attendee will win a grand VIP experience to the 14th Edition of Vdub Camp Fest in Warmbaths. The prize includes fully paid accommodation to the February show as well as a German Automotive Apparel hamper.
The Dubs At The Beach gathering is located on flat grass turf and is comfortable for motoring photographers. The Show and Shine display takes place on a large outdoor space and the venue’s roads are well maintained. There will be DJs on the wheels of steel to keep the crowd entertained while visitors enjoy socializing or a relaxing with food and beverage on site. This year the event falls on the weekend of Womens' day so this is the perfect opportunity to head out and enjoy the beach with your lady or fellow Vdub friends.
Entry is R80 per person online, or R100 at the gate. There is no additional fee for vehicles, or admission charge for Show And Shine entries.
There is also no pre-registration required for show contestants. Simply pitch up on the day and enter your vehicle.
Space does fill up quick so be there early if your car is a worthy show contender.
Children under 10 years are not charged any cover fee.
Food and refreshment vendors are available and this includes Halaal stalls.
Kindly note that there is a licensed bar on site. PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR ITEMS IN GLASS.

The jaw dropping Low Limbo at the show will be hosted by non other than Grounded Nation.
The record shattering Sound Off will be hosted by USACI and Extreme Ridez.
Tickets are available at www.quicket.co.za and a limited quantity at the gate on the day of the show.

All Vdub enthusiasts who join the Gauteng convoy on Friday 5 August receive free JHB - DBN car sticker packs. Limited Edition Tshirts will also be available for purchase at The Glen VW on the day of departure.

# EVENT RULES:
Please note the following attendance conditions:
• No spinning, drifting or excessive revving of vehicles will be tolerated.
• ROAR applies and no unruly drunken behavior or disorderly conduct will be allowed.
• Please plan your outing responsibly as always we discourage any drinking and driving.
• Please keep your wristband accreditation on at all times.
• If visitors do not have pre-sold tickets then cash entry at the gate will be R100 per person.
• We regret that no animals/pets are permitted at the venue.
• Kindly note that no pyrotechnics or fireworks are allowed at the venue.
*INDEMNITY: While organizers make every effort to host a safe event please note that all facilities and activities on the resort are used entirely at your own risk. By purchasing attendance tickets all visitors hereby tacitly agree to the waiver of any damage related claims and indemnify the Cum Laude Productions organizer, its promotional partners and the Kings Park Stadium venue against any loss, injury or death that may occur on the venue property.

EVENT PROGRAMME
The weekend excursion programme is as follows:
Friday 5 August (09h00) - Convoy participants congregate at The Glen Volkswagen, Johannesburg.
Friday 5 August (09h30) - Convoy departs from The Glen Volkswagen to N12 (via Comaro Road) and onto N3 towards Durban. Halfway (20 minute) pit stop will be at Harrismith, Bergview Engen.
Saturday 6 August - Families and friends relax for the day and enjoy Durban scenery, shopping or tourist hot spots.
Sunday 7 August (07h00) - Clean and prep cars.
Sunday 7 August (09h30) - Beach Convoy meet at The Bike & Bean, Snell Parade.
Sunday 7 August (10h00) - Arrivals for the Dubs At The Beach show at Kings Park Stadium.
Sunday 7 August (17h00) - Show & Shine, Sound-Off and Limbo Prize-giving.
Sunday 7 August (18h00) - Show ends and supporters depart.
Monday 8/ Tuesday 9 August - Families and friends unwind and return home at their own time.
