Almost Alive aka “The Entjie Killers” is a skinny-jean rock band based in Cape Town. Performing locally for the past few years, they’ve gained a reputation for their energetic performances , versatile setlist and dirty, raw, funky music with blends of retro and modern sounds, reminiscent of Arctic Monkeys and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Stellenbosch based band Aflos was established in 2019 and draw their inspiration from Indie Rock/Punk and are comprised of mainly students. They attempt to encapsulate the whirlwind times one would experience as a student. With 2 singles out, Roundabout and Strangers, the band best describes themselves as "a vibe"
Together, Almost Alive and Aflos are a dynamic duo, whether it's Aflos’ binge drinking anthems and feel-good bops or Almost Alive’s powerful theatrical rock and funky earworms, they can ensure you an unforgettable night full of larger than life performances.
