Introducing Cape Town’s maiden Full Moon Drive-In… Short & Sweet Cinema proudly invites you to share in a unique short film experience, rich in the distilled romance of one of cinema’s fondest bygone eras. An eccentrically sentimental selection of ground-breaking filmmaking and nostalgic enchantment, Cape Town’s first ever short film drive-in will take place in a secluded urban field, framed by the lion’s head and fringing the Atlantic Ocean, under summer’s final swollen moon… Showcasing eight hand selected short films on the city’s largest inflatable screen, and featuring every conceivable cinematic convenience from ushers to popcorn, this exclusive premiere is limited to 200 vehicles - So put methane in your muscle cars, grease up the mind gears, and come catch a moon tan… Date: 27th March (Full moon) Damage: R60/ticket OR a discounted ticket for R200 per car (min 4 people per car) Details: Gates open at 6pm, films start at 8pm. 200 parking bays available. Expect the complete Short & Sweet experience. 8 short films screened over 2 hours and a live digital illustration from Cape Town’s own Ed Loverock Bab. See the quicket link for venue details.
