Join the first ever Kampala Fashion Carnival - where everyone is a model!

Dress ANY WAY YOU WANT. Come as you are, or put on the most amazing carnival outfit. Any way, you will be invited to walk the carnival catwalk - together with the in-house models showing off the designs of the leading Ugandan fashion designers.

The Carnival King and Queen

At midnight, we will crown the Queen and King of the Carnival. Fame and glory and great prices will be given to the best dressed participants. Will it be you??

All Night Fashion Market

In the courtyard the participating designers will have their pop-up fashion shops. Bring your money and prepare to walk home with some amazing new designs!

Great beats all night

Three great DJs will keep the party going the whole night: Sal DJ, Obisaac and Collin DJ bring their best beats to the carnival.

What is the Kampala Fashion Carnival?

The greatest party of the summer, the Carnival is a celebration of life, love, fashion and design. 

Everyone will be encourage to dress up in their most amazing outfits, and the Carnival Queen and Carnival King will be chosen by a jury and win great prices. We will also have an award for Best Designer. 

The Carnival Catwalk

Everyone will be invited to walk the Carnival Catwalk and be professionally photographed in their outfit. 

Do I need to dress up?

No, you are free to come exactly as you are! All kinds of outfits are welcome. Everyone will be invited to walk the Carnival Catwalk, no matter the outfit.

But if you aim for winning the Carnival Queen or King title, a great outfit is a must!
