THE TIGER WHO CAME TO TEA

Adapted for the Stage by David Wood

Based on the Book by Judith Kerr

Music by David Wood

Produced by special arrangements with Plays for New Audiences

The tiger is back for three weeks only! Celebrate the winter sun with a visit from a loveable tiger, a beautifully crafted stage adaptation of the beloved book THE TIGER WHO CAME TO TEA. Featuring catchy songs, the tale is enacted by characters beloved by all – young and old.

The doorbell rings just as Sophie and her mummy are sitting down to tea. Who could it possibly be? What they certainly don’t expect to see at the door is a big, stripy tiger!

This delightful adaptation of Judith Kerr’s classic picture book has a mix of magic, mayhem and joyful interactive songs.

“As a fun piece of well-crafted theatre that taps into children’s imaginations, this Tiger is the cat’s meow.” –The Times, UK

Don’t miss out on this wonderful entertaining show for children aged three and up, a perfect treat for the whole family. After every performance the audience will have an opportunity to meet the Tiger and maybe even get a tiger-hug! Or at least a tiger photo!

We also tour to schools and invite schools to our charming outdoor Imagination Theatre for a magical experience.
