Thieves and Foxes

Thieves and Foxes is an alt. indie trio from Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs. The band’s members spent years cutting their teeth in various alternative, punk and folk acts, often sharing the stage with each other. Drawing from that experience, and a vast range of musical influences, they mix haunting vocal melodies and poetic storytelling with melancholy riffs and synthetic beats, to create a sound that lands somewhere between indie and folktronica. Their approach to storytelling is deeply personal—pitting the ghosts of the past against a hope for the future.
