INAUGURAL KENNETH KAUNDA MEMORIAL LECTURE SERIES

A unique event celebrating good governance by dissecting the life and times of Zambia's first president, Kenneth Kaunda. The Centre for Policy Dialogue in conjunction with the Kenneth Kaunda Children of Africa Foundation have organised the first-ever Kenneth Kaunda Memorial Lecture Series to honour the father of the nation’s contribution to Zambian socio-political life. The commemoration will involve a two-day exhibition of Dr Kaunda’s works, writings, videos and other memorabilia depicting his life and work, an academic colloquium and a public lecture to be attended by former presidents H.E. Dr. Joachim Chissano of Mozambique and H.E. Thabo Mbeki of South Africa respectively. The event will be officiated by his excellency, President Hakainde Hichilema and graced by captains of industry.
