ABOUT

About:

This workshop explores the nuances of being-in-relationship-with, using dance (butoh) and constellation technology as method.

'The other' as an object both inside and outside of us is both intimate and opaque, accessible and turned away. Its presence in our field, body, and mind, reflects our own deepest longings and triggers, how we locate ourselves ecologically and artistically, and our ability to respond (improvise). It reveals our attachments to our own suffering, and our capacity for complex possibilities of enjoyment and relating.

The workshop is relevant to all interested in movement research, emotive aesthetic in improvisation, and the complexities of embodied relating.

It will take place in Woodstock in Cape Town. Please note that spaces are limited. There is an early bird special that runs until July the 1st.

Event times:

Saturday: 10am - 6pm

Sunday: 1pm - 5pm
