3KM #Walk With Maxeke

ABOUT

The Charlotte Mannya-Maxeke Institute (CMMI) in partnership with Freedom Park Heritage Site and Museum will be hosting the 1st #WalkwithMaxeke Fundraising walk on Sunday the 16th of October 2022. Commemorating 83 years of Mme Charlotte's passing with the core objective being: fundraising for our Youth Forums: Future Leaders, Future Farmers Initiative. This will help us scale and sustain the vegetable gardens for our 1 School 1 Garden Program with partner schools currently in Gauteng.  The success of this event will enable us to continue with our Youth Forum programs as well as highlight the work we do in the historiography of women. As we walk the 3KM we will get to view The Women Before Us Exhibition, remembering the women who are our torchbearers in the historical site of Freedom Park Heritage Site and Museum.
