When Dancers Unite is a Bollywood-themed spectacle featuring Taare and a host of artists from various other dance backgrounds.
Staged live in April 2022 at the Artscape Opera House, this showcase brings seemingly contrasting dance forms together onto one platform in a creative juxtaposition that highlights their differences but also creates a magical harmony of movement. From traditional Indian artforms to dance styles from across the globe, the 70-minute showcase is an explosion of colour, beauty, and novel imagination.
When Dancers Unite celebrates the tenacious spirit and unity of performers in a Covid world, depicting the captivating diversity of our local dance community. The showcase, presented by Taare in association with Suidoosterfees, can now be streamed in the comfort of your own home.
