Eliya's Bat Mitzvah Fundraiser - Girl Power!

Around 30% of South African girls miss school during their period because they don't have money for sanitary products. That's about 1 week every month. I can't imagine missing that much school in a year! As I celebrate my Bat-Mitzvah, becoming a woman in my community, I would like to make a difference in the lives of other school girls as they become women.

This is why I have chosen to try raise enough money to buy 200 starter-packs (or more) of Palesa Pads, washable and reusable sanitary towels, to help 200 girls remain in school. Together with Mama Flo we will deliver the packs and an educational workshop, to school girls in Cape Town.

Each pack of 3 washable, reusable sanitary towels costs R99. Your donations will help me reach my goal.
