Somerset Colleges’ Annual Golf Day is a prestigious event on the school calendar, and has earned a reputation over the years as one of the best amateur golf days in the Western Cape. Somerset College is proud to be hosting the 2022 Golf Day on the 18th of November at De Zalze Golf Club. On the day we will have a full field of 132 golfers and a full court of boules players followed by a lovely dinner and auction at the De Zalze Clubhouse.
Take note: Dinner is not included in the 4-ball price, please book your dinner separately.
Somerset College is a leading, independent, co-educational day and boarding school situated in the Western Cape Winelands. There are 1100 students who attend this beautiful school. It is a registered Non-Profit Company overseen by a Board of Governors. The school has a strong academic, cultural and sporting focus, as well as impressive environmental initiatives. It has earned recognition for its unique and comprehensive outdoor education programme. The school also places a strong emphasis on social responsibility and runs a number of programmes that give students the opportunity to be actively involved in community projects. This event is one of our main annual fundraisers for both the Prep and High School and all children will ultimately benefit from all funds raised and channeled back into development and improvements at our school and our surrounding communities.
