IBFF Southern Cape Spring Classic

We have exciting news!

IBFF (International Body building and Fitness Federation) will be hosting its 3rd body building event in the Southern Cape.

Our very own IBFF, professional athlete, Fitness S.A champion and Fitness World champion Rochelle van der Bank will be hosting the event.

The IBFF Southern Cape Spring Classic will be held on DV, Saturday the 18^th of June 2022. Anticipating athletes from all over our different provinces as well as their die-hard supporters. Rochelle is passionate about the sport and would love to develop the art of body building amongst her community. We have the support of the Mossel Bay Municipality and are part of the Mossel Bay Sports festival.

Our aim is to develop the talent in the previously disadvantaged communities. So many are willing but lack the skills and funds. Athletes sleep in Police Stations as they do not have the funds for accommodation. These are just some of the hurdles that these talented athletes struggle with. Transformation is a bottom-up approach, which means that we must invest in the development of the enormous talent in the township and rural communities. We hosted our first Disability division last year and it was a huge success. It will now be a permanent division in our yearly competition.
