ABOUT
Skip the afternoon traffic and join the Cape Chamber Music Collective for a programme of Oliver Messiaen's masterpiece Quatour pour la fin du temps (Quartet for the end of time) paired with a new counterpart work written just for this project by South African composer Grant McLachlan, the Quartet for the beginning of time. Completing the programme is the much-loved Intermezzo, op. 118 no. 2 Johannes Brahms, here masterfully arranged for this eclectic group of instruments by Grant McLachlan.
The popular Erin Hall is the optimal setting for this concert, with wonderful acoustics and an intimate atmosphere. Tickets include a glass of wine, compliments of Painted Wolf Wines.
