Jim Beam is bringing us together. The merging of artists, venues, and music lovers. The feeling of being a part of the SA music scene with the launch of their Jim Beam Welcome Sessions. The Welcome Sessions are all about creating connections between amazing acts, some you wouldn’t ordinarily expect to feature together. It’s a demonstration of their shared love for the music and the local scene to remind fans of the essence of live music, that welcoming spirit – something they’ve been missing over these long months.

Welcome back live music with Black Math, MOUSE, Hated Related & Saturn Return on the 4th of June at The Winston Pub in Durban. Four performances, one night. Brought to you by the world’s number one bourbon.

Black Math is a three-piece band whose sound is raw and unforgiving and will punch you in the face when you least expect it. Joining them are fellow Durbanites MOUSE, a noisy, heavy, experimental, two-piece band who make music that literally shakes the room. 

Rock band Hated Related make their Welcome Session debut, championing music that is authentic and reality-based, while keeping an artistic form to try and emulate the true nature of humanity. And rounding off the line-up is femme power punk group, Saturn Return who reinforce this power all-Durban band bill.
