Deep Democracy | Building a Racially Inclusive South Africa

Thu Jun 30, 18:00 - Thu Jun 30, 20:00

Constitution Hill

ABOUT

The past few months have seen a rise in the public dialogue on racial tension in South Africa, with a heightened demand for justice and public shaming of a few. This has however been part of the country’s discourse for several years given our history with no automatic transition to a sense of inclusion at the birth of democracy in 2014.

Please join us for a dialogue to explore the question “What does it mean to build a racially inclusive South Africa?”

We will be using the Deep Democracy method, a dialogue tool that includes everyone’s participation, enables all diverse opinions to be heard and uncovers the inherent wisdom in the group in relation to the topic. The dialogue will be facilitated by Debbie Donaldson of Because YOU’RE worth it!
