For the month of May as we explore the Future of Communications it's vital to have regard to both PUBLIC and more PRIVATE forms of Communication. To this end, Our Lead Ambassador, who happens to also be a long-serving Toastmaster will lead in this online MASTERCLASS which she titles: Communicating with Impact, 101. The focus of this masterclass is to offer short, key pointers to the audience on how to perfect their public speaking as well as how to manage their overall communications strategy and actions. This 30 minute masterclass is designed to enable participants to have the full confidence to get to any microphone, to make a stand or position in any auditorium, no matter the room size. It is also relevant for those wishing to progress in their board relations or management style. The speaker, Bhatupe has had significant board experience, having served in Lilongwe, Malawi as a member of the Board of Malawi Institute of Management (MIM) by Presidential Appointment. During this time she chaired the Finance Committee. At around the same year she served and grew her own public speaking journey and became a Toastmaster with the Lilongwe Toastmasters Club, based at the British Council then at the CrossRoads Hotel. In this club she served in key leadership roles- first as Event director, then later as the President of this Club. Her passion for public service and leadership has often seen her play leading roles with various organizations, which have thrust her more and more toward addressing large and small audiences. When she moved to international work in Geneva, Switzerland Bhatupe continued with the Toastmasters movement via the Geneva International Toastmasters Club, subsequently becoming President (2008-09). At her time in the club she served in the ranks of the club at various levels and was also a frequent participant at the European District contest. She is a Past winner in the Impromptu Speech contest at this Division. In this masterclass Bhatupe will bring these key winning tips and the foundation needed for you to transition into the high level speaker, performer, business woman or professional that you already are.

Bhatupe has also worked with a number of communication professionals in the production of key digital materials-such as short films, documentary, international marketing campaigns and has an eye for powerful copywriting details and captivating visuals. She will bring in key learnings from this work that bears on all of our communication skills.

In recent years Bhatupe trained in and received an Executive Masters Diploma in Negotiations and Multilateral Diplomacy. A key component in this professional sector is that of stakeholder management and communications strategy. She will download significant principles, tools and action steps to into this session and ensure that the audience takes home sought-after communication skills. She will open up for a more lengthy Q and A session than we've had in the past, so please bring in your questions and comments! We want to make this as meaty, useful and vibrant a session as possible! Grab your tickets below, bring a friend, share this page. See you there!

Who is a ‘Future Female’ (i.e. a member)? (Our manifesto)

Future Females is a movement that exists to increase the number of and support the success of female entrepreneurs globally. We are a community-based learning platform, where women can access online courses taught by the world’s best female Founders - who have achieved success from their strategies, multiple times over.

A Future Female is a woman who is breaking the mould, pushing the boundaries and thinking bigger.

Future Females are women, united by a common, unquenchable desire for success, on their own terms.

They set massive goals and achieve these through consistent, imperfect action, to drive positive change and transform the world around us.
