Two Choirs and Two Organs: Drakensberg Boys’ Choir with the Hilton College Vocal Ensemble

ABOUT

The installation of a new organ in the Hilton College Chapel and the pending rehousing of the chapel’s pipe organ in the new Hilton College Music Centre presents a rare opportunity to perform Widor’s exciting Mass for Two Choirs and Two Organs in South Africa with two instruments at either end of a building. This choral and organ programme, that includes Vivaldi’s famous Gloria, also features Albinoni’s much-loved Adagio for violin and organ. Vaughan van Zyl conducts the combined choirs, with David Orr and Luke Holder on organ, and Brett Udal on violin. Pre-bookings on Quicket are essential.
