Dalin Oliver is back on stage with his new one-man stand-up comedy show, Stay At Home Comedian. After an unplanned sabbatical, also known as the pandemic, he’s so excited to be traveling again and performing to live audience members across the country. Let’s be honest, all of us are tired of living life online, checking our Wi-Fi connection and telling people to mute their mics during Zoom calls.

Dalin, a teacher turned comedian grabbed the mic, and left the classroom, pension, and all other benefits for the thrill of being on stage and a well delivered punchline. He’s clean cut, energetic and charming brand of comedy has been described as easily accessible, nostalgic, and diverse in the best kind of way, making him relatable to South Africans from all walks of life.

The award-winning comedian has performed on Comedy Central Africa and played a lead role in the South African action-comedy feature film Finders Keepers which aired in cinemas nationwide. It’s also no small matter that he has three self-produced comedy specials, Adulting, I Came, I Taught, I Left and Face For Radio, with the latter two picked up by Showmax & DStv.

When he is not on stage, the dynamic performer can be found live on-air every weekday morning on Good Hope FM’s flagship Big Breakfast Show where he dons that hat of SA Radio Awards nominated sports presenter, blending an in-depth knowledge of the sports world with his undeniable comedic flair. He's also one half and co-host of Happy Hour, a Savanna Comics Choice Awards nominated show - the only comedy focused day time commercial radio show in South Africa.
