Beltane Fire Festival 2022
Beltane - which roughly translates as “bright fire” - was a tradition celebrated in various forms as the starting point of summer. It marks the dawn of summer and the end of frost with bonfires, feasting and rituals meant to appease the aos si – fairy folk who are significantly more bloodthirsty than the ones you find in most modern fairytales!
We also celebrate Samhuinn in October: the Celtic holiday on which Halloween is based.
Join us at Rusty Hook on Saturday 29 October from 7pm til late, as we eat, drink and make merry; thrill to the fire acts and displays and dance the night away around the bonfires and the maypole for a modern interpretation of ancient Beltane festivities, which are focused on all things fire!

ONLY TEN VIP Tickets available - these include a welcome drink; a flower crown; a free entry into the raffle; your song of choice added to the playlist and participation in the maypole dance if desired!
