ABOUT

Marcia Moon is Fantasy Folk Artist and is best known for her stories about myths, ghosts,

the mystical and the magical. She has been a performing artist for more than two decades

and has released 3 studio albums; ‘’A Gradual Awakening’’, ‘’Marcia Moon’’ and ‘’Two

Decades’’, an EP; ‘’X’’ and numerous singles, including; ‘’Die Heks van Hexrivier Vallei’’,

‘’Tienduisend Gode’’, ‘’Ballade van Tyd’’ and ‘’Summer in the Cape’’.

She has played most South African fests, including Strab, Oppikoppi, Mieliepop and KKNK,

but is better known for her intimate-styled theatre and house concert shows. She is

currently touring the country as part of her ‘’Magic House Tour’’, playing and sharing her

stories in eccentric, artistic, and wonderful houses.

Marcia is joined by drummer and percussionist Derek Craig, who will be performing

electronic soundscapes on the wave drum. Marcia and Derek has been performing together

for over 3 years.
