VUYO AND THE WOLF
SHADOW PUPPET SHOW
Presented by Khanyi Sigwanda
Join us again for our monthly rendez-vous with puppets!
This time, discover an African folktale with beautiful characters in this shadow puppetry show.
Explore Vuyo's journey in learning more about responsibility and honesty through uMkhulu Jacob's guidance.
Vuyo has to watch Uncle Jacob’s sheep, but he’s always late! And when he’s counting the sheep, he always falls asleep. Uncle Jacob knows Vuyo is a good boy, but when his sheep start to go missing, he knows something must be done.
This one-person retelling of the classic Aesop fable of The Boy Who Cried Wolf features Khanyisa Sigwanda who flits between characters with ease.
Utilizing physical theatre & shadow puppetry, ‘Vuyo & the Wolf’ will delight youngsters and parents alike and is most suitable for audiences aged 3-7 years.
Look forward to loads of singing and dancing and a fun-filled storytelling experience.
