Melvyn Lubega is a technology entrepreneur and investor who has built businesses that serve customers across the world. Most notably he built and scaled Go1, a leading online learning platform used by organisations and governments in over 20 countries, which recently became a unicorn following a $200 million investment led by SoftBank, Salesforce Ventures and AirTree Ventures. He is an advisor to the government on technology , innovation as well as youth unemployment, and in the private sector serves on the boards of JSE-Listed companies. He holds degrees from the University of Cape Town and the University of Oxford, where he was an Allan Gray Orbis Foundation Fellow and a Rhodes Scholars, respectively.
