The Development and Alumni Relations Division takes great pleasure in inviting you to a wine tasting fundraiser on Thursday, 12 May 2022. At this special event, we will give you a sneak peek of what to expect at the annual Stellenbosch University Giving Day scheduled to take place later this year.

Please join us for great conversations, refreshments, and the opportunity to listen to icons of the wine industry whilst sipping some of our favorite Louisvale wines.

Giving Day forms part of the University’s Annual Fund, Bridge the Gap, that aims to remove the obstacles that are hindering Maties from having a meaningful student experience and obtaining that sought-after degree. This fund enables our student community, staff, alumni, parents, and friends to support our students with the things that are making their lives undeniably difficult. Our aim is to close the gap between talent and financial need, something we all care about. You can make an immediate, tangible difference in the lives of Stellenbosch University students by giving to the Annual Fund, Bridge the Gap. Giving Day is the platform and event to create awareness and nurture exposure of the several initiatives under the umbrella of Bridge the Gap. These include, #Move4Food, the Tygerberg Pantry Project, #Action4Inclusion, #GradMe, #Zim4Zim, #End Period Poverty, #MatiesHaveDrive and Caught in the Middle.
