ABOUT
After two frustrating years, the world-renowned Stellenbosch University Choir is back, bursting with pent-up energy and intoxicating joy. The SU Choir, under the baton of André van der Merwe since 2003, is one of the oldest and most celebrated choirs in South Africa. They have been number one on the Interkultur Ranking List of the top 1 000 international choirs for the past decade. The choir will perform a new repertoire of iconic local and international works.
The SU Choir has been acknowledged as one of South Africa’s most outstanding youth development and choral programmes that reflects the changes of our wider society. It stands as a testament to the power of music to bring about diversity and harmony across societal divide.
Due to Covid restrictions, capacity is limited to 230 seats. Book early to avoid disappointment.
