My Father's House

About

At My Father’s House we strive to be a catalyst of positive change in society and in peoples’ lives through the provision of nourishing meals and programmes that restore dignity and self esteem.

Born out of over 20 years of caring for the poor and vulnerable, My Father’s House is a self-funded non-government organisation caring for the poor and vulnerable. Initiatives include:

  • A Community Kitchen in Simon's Town that feeds between 1000 - 2000 people a day
  • A Resource Centre that provides services to the vulnerable as well as printing solutions and a coffee shop to help fund our work.
  • Support, equipment and training to set-up and maintain community kitchens in the South Peninsula
  • The rehabilitation and re-homing / reintegration of street people through Project Home
