Much has been said and much has been written about how to rid our society of gender based violence and femicide. Marches have been organised, silent protests have taken place and our President has made promises, albeit empty ones.
In 'Femme is Fatale' a brand new one-woman cabaret, Elzabé Zietsman gets onto the case of this scourge using song and story telling to get to the bottom of this 'other epidemic' which is threatening to devour the very fabric of South African society.
Femme is Fatale was supposed to premiere in March 2020, but the Covid epidemic put a stop to that. After two years on ice Elzabé and her team are more than excited to finally be able to perform the show.
Bruce Little wrote the script and 'Femme is Fatale' has been directed by Eloise Clasen. Kosie Smit did the design and everything else.
